Today’s word-game hints, updated daily

About HintCorner

Built by word-game fans who also build websites

HintCorner is an independent word-game guide for players who want to keep solving, not skip straight to the answer. We offer spoiler-safe, progressive hints for Connections today, with Wordle, original games and more daily puzzle coverage on the way.

How it started

Puzzle habit, meet web-building habit

We were already comparing Connections groups, debating Wordle openers and sending each other the clue that finally made a board click. We also make websites for a living, so building a calmer, spoiler-safe home for that help felt like the obvious next project.

The goal is not to rush players to the answer. It is to offer layers: one small hint, a stronger nudge, the category and then the complete explanation.

Our FluentSlang connection

Language depth stays useful after the puzzle

Part of this team also worked on FluentSlang, a language site for meanings, usage and word origins. That experience helps us explain why a strange word fits without turning every puzzle page into a dictionary entry.

FluentSlang remains the home for durable meaning guides. This site owns the game-specific hints, categories, solving logic and archives.

How a daily guide is made

Verify first, explain second, reveal last

  1. Check the puzzle.Confirm the date, public number, sixteen words and four exact groups.
  2. Test the hints.Make each reveal useful at its own level without leaking the next one.
  3. Explain the trap.Show why the tempting overlap fails and what exact rule wins.
  4. Keep the archive honest.Record corrections and preserve the right guide after the daily hub changes.
